New Patients What to Expect
On Arrival
It is important to all here at HFDP that your first visit is relaxed.
Please arrive 10 minutes earlier than your first appointment time.
You will be greeted at reception and your personal details will be entered into our secure patient management system software. You will be asked to fill out a comprehensive medical history form.
In Surgery
Your chosen dentist will talk with you about your previous experience with dentistry and find out what your concerns and needs may be. Your chosen dentist will carry out a thorough examination including your jaw joint your soft tissues in and around your mouth your teeth and your gums it may be necessary to take some X rays. Your chosen dentist will discuss their clinical findings and decide with you what treatment may be required.
On Leaving Surgery
You will be given a written treatment plan and our reception team will be able to arrange any further appointments you may need, if no further treatment is required then we will just book in your next check up or hygienist visit.
